The proposed development, over the next 15 years will include:
- 800 – 900 new households in a variety of densities and styles, including stand-alone houses, townhouses and lifestyle blocks.
- A business area with local employment opportunities of around 45 hectares in size.
- New road connections, as well as recreation and ecological links and protection.
- A 4-lane link road from State Highway 1 between Tawa and the Grenada interchange connecting to State Highway 2 between Petone and Dowse interchanges in the Hutt Valley.
